Nice couple of hours in the water for 3 Gold and 1 Silver

Went back to the same Beach where the last gold rings came from

Beautiful day out there in the water

Maybe 2 hours in the water for a few Junk rings,one Silver and three nice 9ct Rings

This one has the tiniest of Diamond Chips in it

Was calling it a day and made my way back to shore when maybe 2meters from the dry I got a signal

that sounded too good not to dig and what do you know...out pops this Rose Gold band.

First detect back in Auckland produces some Gold and Silver

I went for a short holiday up to Doubtless Bay area ...I took the detectors with in the hope of finding some old stuff.
Sadly the Beaches were beautiful but bottomless sand as well.
Had a great holiday though

Back In Auckland-Went for a night detect last night at the low and was pleasantly surprised with some goodies

Verdict is still out on this bracelet
It tarnished like Silver and cleaned up likewise
I can not find any stamp on it though and you would think for the amount of detail put into it there would be some stamp somewhere

Yellow gold band with white gold inlay

A pretty dainty 9ct signet ring

The other two rings on the main pic were junkers

Think I found a Gold Ring with my previous post....

Just decided to empty out my junk bag from last water detect and saw what I thought brass ring,like the old curtain ones....but I remembered I saw what looked like a stamp on the inside while in the water
Due to the shape....completely round(not flat on the inside like all rings I've seen) I thought it could not be a ring as it was quite tarnished as well

After some metal polish it came out like this...

Stamp looks like C JK 333  ?
Which leads me to believe it is 8CT gold
What do you guys reckon?

Another quick early morning hunt....only Silver today

Out in the water again at the crack of dawn
Weather was pleasant and the water not too cold
Made for a nice morning even though the finds were meager

Got out into the water this morning while it was still dark...turns out it was worthwhile


Got a few bits and pieces of junk jewellery

And then out popped a nice 10k ring

Two visits two the beach...
First visit produced this...slightly larger than a button
Unfortunately Neptune hasn't been kind to it

Found the BIG DADDY of 9k Rings

Went out yesterday again for what was supposed to be a full days hunt,but my Scoop handle snapped cutting it short by half a day

Happy with the results for the half a day though
Here is the Silver for the day.

Verdict is still out on this one....cleaned up like Silver...?

And then out came....what I first thought was the top of a brass pipe due to the size

No distinctive marks on it,but I will go and inquire in the area where I found it to see if anyone lost a whopper like this
