Went out this morning at 4:30am, ocean swell was a bit rough but Neptune rewarded me with a nice gold ring with 18 little diamonds
The pendant is .925 and looks like it has been in the water for quite some time.
Some of the interesting items from the last few hunts
Large gold is 22k
Small gold is stamped 22k but I have serious doubts as the colour is not right and there's few more things that just doesn't 'look' right, so I am viewing it as plated for now.
Rest is all .925
Decided to go out last night on the low tide
The junk rings looked good from afar, but far from good upon closer inspection. The live round was something unusual. Being that old, I might have to take it to get disposed of safely.
The square ring turned out to be . 925
Was out of the detecting game for ages due to various reasons.
Sent my Excal in for repairs a few weeks back
.... and on the second hunt after getting it back it started repaying me for the love with a few grams of .375
Unfortunately the square ring is a junker because it weighs almost 20g 😔
