Hi Chris....Sadly enough the old Silvers came from one small part of a Park that hasn't been resurfaced....so Im not holding my breath for anymore from there...the UK pennies all came from a site I went through a lot a of trouble obtaining permission from...but then ran into someone giving me 1st hand info that they have been detecting there on the sly without permission...so I don't know if there are any Silver left there...just gotta love the Cowboys out there that give us Detectorists that play by the book a bad name :(:(
ReplyDeleteThe cowboy has probably been hunting at speed so to avoid being caught. He has probably got the goldies and not much else. You can take your time and plunder at your leisure. :-)
DeleteHice haul...........Looks like a great spot, love those Vicky silvers!
ReplyDeleteThanks...hopefully I get to see them a lot more :):) HH
DeleteWell done on the 1st 1800's silver,
ReplyDeletehope many more follow :) HH!
Yap it was a pity that the spot with old silvers was the only one spot for old stuff. all the afford of researching and checking the place yield only scars finds :-(
ReplyDeleteBut... hopefully we are on a right track and will find a non reinstated spot around the area..
