Another Bizarre Foreign Coin Dump
Found all these in a 1m x 1m spot in the wet sand
Don't know who throws away current currency.....
Aus & US Coins
Foreign Coins from Nederland to Thailand I think
A handful of old 5c pieces....I can understand someone biffing these :)
Any Backpacker hostel in the area? I sometimes find groups of mixed foreign coins on the beach where backpackers congregate together. But never that many in such a small area. Bet you were pulling your hair out wondering when the detector would stop beeping! :)
I was actually.....was dark with a strong wind coming in from the water....I actually left a few behind cause my son was with me and we both decided indoors with some food would be more pleasant :):)
Last year I found a similar 'dump' from the same beach but this was maybe 50m away and appears to have been there for a while....as long as they are 'planting'current spendable coins I don't mind ;)
Hi Fellas......Too be honest,after the first like 10 coins I put the detector down,loosened the sand and sweeped the pinpointer through the area to avoid having to get up/bend down/get up/bend down and only getting up like like every 5 coins or so to look for a signal with the detector :)
All that in a square metre - your machine must have sounded crazy.

DeleteI think someone knows you detect that beach and is messing with your head.LOL................ Maybe a kids treasure hunt?
