A blog about some Metal Detecting Trips and Finds in New Zealand.
We go Water Detecting mainly but also do some old spots depending on our research.
Have to try and keep track of all the 'hunts' :)

Some Silver for the week
And some of the junk jewellery
Any body lost a car and house key with an Air New Zealand Keyring?
Thanks....Yes these two are quite a nice design........also for the week heaps of junk, maybe 15 sinkers and two handfuls of old decimals but I was a bit lazy with the pics :)
It's OK I have quite a good idea what sinkers and junk look like. :-) I have hit my ooold silver haunts so many times now I think they are about done as my recent lack of finds tends to show. I need some new sites a.s.a.p.
A good week for you Guy.
ReplyDeleteNice silver rings.
....I would like to visit some of your haunts cause you pull up nice ooold Silvers ;)

I wish I could get into a place with some silver coins. Good job!
ReplyDeleteHi...I find if you're at a spot and you are digging pennies pre 1950s then there is a big chance there is some silver around...keep searching HH:)
DeleteYeah I agree. If your diggin copper you will find the silver if it's there. Trouble is sometimes it is just Penny, Penny, Penny .......
ReplyDeleteYep, your right Chris.........but I still love the pennys!
ReplyDeleteIt's still cool finding the Pennys....the ones that have no silver lining or appeal to me would have to be the 1c and 2c pieces...hate 'em :)
DeleteI really must pay more attention to whose blog I am looking at when I mention finders names. I think I have got it wrong twice now.
