A blog about some Metal Detecting Trips and Finds in New Zealand.
We go Water Detecting mainly but also do some old spots depending on our research.
Have to try and keep track of all the 'hunts' :)

A quick walk in the Park this morning....smallest stamped silver ring so far
Yes,I was really surprised when I saw it was stamped...Ladybird measures 4mmx6mm....In my opinion you cant go wrong with the Propointer....the cheap Chinese pointer I had before was dead compared to the Garrett, and it is a really sturdy construction as well....You got any views on the ATPro?Cheers
Can't compare the AT to any other make since it is my 1st detector. But I have no complaints with it at all. I have regularly found coins over 12" deep and am picking up on the sounds from the Pro mode without a problem. Best thing with it is the ability to just lay it down or hose it off without worrying about it getting wet. By the way it was approx $300NZ cheaper buying direct from the US then what they are currently listed on Trademe for.
Hey that is tiny! The ladybird is life size :)
ReplyDeleteHow are you finding the Pro-pointer? I have just ordered one myself.
