A blog about some Metal Detecting Trips and Finds in New Zealand.
We go Water Detecting mainly but also do some old spots depending on our research.
Have to try and keep track of all the 'hunts' :)

Awesome morning......
Broken Watches and a Crossbow Arrow Hmmm???
Some pennies and a Aussie Half and Chinese Tokens?
Thanks....funny thing is I was at this spot twice before and found nothing older than 1c&2c....I decided to go back and try it again and found pennies and 4xsilver coins...which off course meant I had to go back again and I found the rings....which means I'll have to go back lots more :):) HH
its not that you have to go back... that points that you discriminate to much or do not dig all signals... :)
I left all parks for winter and sweep all beaches at the moment. Parks a hard and slow detecting. while at the beach we recovering up to 1000 Targets :) yap 1000 no exederation.
That's a hard act to follow Guy.
ReplyDeleteWell done on the silver.
Just trying to decide where I will hit this weekend.

If I were to go to a Park and dig all signals on a Zero discrimination I would have to be insanely stupid
